The area offers many activities - the Mid Clare Walking routeis passing by the house, the golf courses of Dromoland and Ennis are only a short drive away. An Equestrian Centre is just down the road. All the sights of County Clare - Bunratty and Knappogue Castles, Quin Abbey, Craggaunowen Iron Age dwellings, Lough Derg, the Burren and the Cliffs of Mohercan easily be reached. The town of Ennis offers attractive shopping streets, historicalsights, the Glor Irish Music centre and evening entertainment in the many traditional pubs.
